The 71st consecutive summer that these
people-movers will traverse the
Wildwoods Boardwalk with their famous audible warning “Watch the Tram Cars Please.”
The original Tram Cars were custom built for the 1939 World’s Fair in Flushing, New York.

Tram is open every day (7 days) at 11 am.
Monday thru Thursday the Tram runs until about
5 pm and on Fri, Sat and Sun the Tram will run until about 10 pm.
Tram Cars operate during the season along the two miles of the Wildwoods Boardwalk from 16th Street in North Wildwood to Cresse Avenue at the Wildwood/Wildwood Crest end.
The yellow and blue trams have been traversing the boards since June 11, 1949.They were originally built for the 1939 New York World’s Fair and brought to Five Mile Beach by
Operation begins at 11am and generally goes until the amusement piers close. A one-way ride is about thirty minutes. Take advantage of the Hop On Hop Off Wristbands until 5pm. You may get on or off anywhere along the route – reentry requires a hop on hop off wristband or another fare.
