Sightseer Tram Car Operation schedule 2023:

7 DAYS A WEEK, FROM 11 AM TO 11 PM, THROUGH MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH

 

Beginning on Friday, September 8th through the final day of 2023 operation on Friday, September 22nd, Tram Cars will run as follows:

 

Friday: (9/15) from 11 am to 11 pm

Fridays: (9/8, 9/22) from 5 pm to 11 pm

Saturdays: (9/9, 9/16) from 11 am to 11 pm

Sundays: (9/10 and 9/17) from 11 am to 5 pm

Hours are subject to change due to weather and other circumstances

2023 will be the 75th year of hearing “Watch The Tram Car Please!” from the Sightseer Tram Car on the Wildwoods Boardwalk! The Tram Car is still the best way to travel the 2 mile Wildwoods Boardwalk and experience everything it has to offer! 

The one-way full-price fare in 2023 is $5 and the Wildwoods Tram Car app gives you your first ride free!  A $13 "Hop On/Hop Off’ wristband is a great deal offering unlimited rides until 5 p.m. 

 

Discount tickets books are also available! Discounted ticket books and wrist bands are available at six locations on the Wildwoods Boardwalk 

and can also be purchased on the Wildwoods Tram Car App.

The yellow and blue trams have been traversing the boards since June 11, 1949.They were originally built for the 1939 New York World’s Fair and brought to Five Mile Beach by S.B. Ramagosa.
